TREAT LICE AT HOME WITH THESE TIPS

When people hear they can treat lice at home, they’re usually envisioning smearing their children’s heads in mayonnaise, olive oil or some other pantry product. But we’re hear to say if it sounds like an old wives’ tale, it probably is.

There’s no need to spend hours scouring the Internet for the best home remedies, we’re going to give you the tips here.

While most parents schedule our lice removal services because ease and convenience is king, trust us when say that if you have the time and patience, you can tackle this bug at home.

In our salon, there are no secret potions or complicated equipment, just expertly trained technicians, trusty lice combs and a few pesticide free products that facilitate the job.

We’re happy to announce that Lice Troopers will now be offering its unique, pesticide free lice removal products for use at home. No need to run to the drug store for a pesticide that’s not going to work anyways. With the right products and tools, you can do this at home, in a way that’s safe for your family and the environment.

Lice removal, while it requires patience and determination, is not brain surgery. We recommend finding a well-lit room so you’ll be able to see the tiny bugs and nits. Then, using our lice shampoo, coat the hair thoroughly. This is going to make it much easier to run the comb through the hair.

Using clips or barrettes, section the hair, leaving small sections to work with. Dip the comb in a little lice thickener and then run the comb from where the hair meets the scalp to the very end of the section. Wipe the comb on a paper towel and then repeat the process until you’ve worked through each of the sections of hair.

Wash and dry the hair, styling as usual. Follow up with another detailed check of the head and scalp. A second or third treatment may be required.

Lice removal, while time consuming, doesn’t have to be a painful or impossible task. With the Lice Troopers line of home treatment products, getting rid of this parasite at home just got easier.
